Ingersoll's Mark Kean will try to make another trip to the Brier as he gets set to compete at the Ontario Tankards in Owen Sound.
The opening ceremonies start this afternoon with the first draw happening at 7:30 pm tonight. Kean is the skip of his team, which also features Kevin Flewwelling as Third, Ed Cyr at Second and Sean Harrison as the Lead.
If Kean can win the Tankard, they will earn the right to represent Ontario at the Brier, something they were able to accomplish back in 2015.
Kean started playing the game at the age of 7 at the Woodstock Curling Club.
We will be keeping a close eye on his progress throughout the week. Team Kean will take on Team Latimer tonight at 7:30 pm in the opening draw.
The Tankard features some big names in the sport, including Glen Howard and John Epping.
