There will be guided hikes at Hodges Wetlands for International Trails Day tomorrow.
OXFORD COUNTY - Take A Hike Oxford is going to celebrate International Trails Day.
Dan Molinaro, a member of the Oxford County Trails Council, says a special event will be taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. tomorrow.
"This is at Hodges Trail, formerly known as Hodges Pond, off Old Stage Road, between Sweaburg Road and Highway 59, and it's almost halfway between right on Cedar Creek."
He adds what people can expect if they show up to the event.
"We have three guided hikes, one at 9:00 a.m., one at 10.30 a.m. and one at noon. It's a 3k loop, so it's about a 30 to 40 minute hike."
If you come out to the event, Molinaro adds you will be able to see a wide variety of wildlife. The Oxford County Mobile Library will also be on hand and have a storybook hike. The event is completely free and is open to people of all ages.
Dan Molinaro stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Thursday, June 4th. You can listen to the full interview below:
