WOODSTOCK - It's has been a busy month for the newly appointed Mayor of Woodstock.
Jerry Acchione was officially sworn in on November 15th, after winning the municipal election on October 24th.
He stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan Henry and Marcie Culbert this morning. They discussed the following:
- How he has adjusted to becoming the Mayor of Woodstock. How he balances his mayoral duties with his job at Anderson's GM.
- Highlights for this Thursday's City Council meeting. This includes the finalization of the 2023 Capital Budget, upcoming discussions regarding benches in the downtown core, and the potential for new development in the east end of Woodstock.
- The decision to appoint Connie Lauder as the Acting Mayor of Woodstock.
