The latest edition of the Holiday Sharing Guide includes information on how to give and get help in Oxford County this holiday season.
OXFORD - The 2022 Holiday Sharing Guide has been released.
It's the 12th year of updating the Oxford County guide. United Way Oxford Executive Director Kelly Gilson calls it a "one-stop location" for people who need information on how to get or give help for the holiday season.
"We know it's been a difficult couple of years and given the current economic environment, there are families and individuals who were really able to get by before who are now truly struggling. Often people who have not previously accessed help don't know where to go."
The guide has information on many charities, events, and shelters that help people during the holiday season, and it can be found online here. It is downloadable and printable. Gilson also wants to remind everyone that 2-1-1 is always available to call as well.
The Holiday Sharing Guide is a collaboration between United Way Oxford, Oxford County, InformationOxford.ca, and 211 Ontario.
