Tomorrow is the deadline for local families in need to submit a registration form to participate in Operating Sharing's The Christmas Place.
OXFORD COUNTY - Time is running out for local families in need to sign up for Operation Sharing's The Christmas Place.
Coordinator Kathy Gardiner says tomorrow is the deadline to register for the program.
"They can get a registration form at any service agency, social agency, or church in Oxford County. They can either e-mail it to me, or Christmas Place, and the e-mail address is on the registration form."
That e-mail address is thechristmasplace1@gmail.com. The forms can also be dropped off at College Ave Church in Woodstock.
Families who sign up for the program will be able to shop through donated toys on a designated shopping day, which will be Tuesday December 13th, Wednesday December 14th, or Thursday December 15th. Each toy will cost $1, $2, or $3 and there is a $4 spending limit for each child.
Operation Sharing will be accepting new toy donations for the program up until Monday December 12th. They can be dropped off at College Ave Church anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
There will also be a toy drive for The Christmas Place this Friday. A school bus will be driving around to local businesses in order to pick up toy donations. Businesses interested in participating in the toy drive can reach out to The Christmas Place for more details.
