You have until this Friday to submit a nomination form for one of the Oxford County Tourism Awards of Excellence.
OXFORD COUNTY - Time is running out if you want to nominate an individual, non-profit organization, or local small business for one of the Oxford County Tourism Awards of Excellence.
Friday March 31st is the deadline and you can find the nomination forms online here. Three awards will be handed out this year; Best New Tourism Product, Special Event of the Year, and Tourism Partnership.
Tourism Specialist Meredith Maywood says a panel of experts will determine the winners.
"We are bringing in judges from outside Oxford County to judge the awards. For instance, the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario Vice President Carol Greenwood will be one of the judges and will be participating in the award ceremony giving a presentation on what the TIAO does. We are very excited to have these people who are leaders in tourism across Ontario come together and see what is happening in Oxford County."
The award winners will be announced in June.
