The first-ever Novemburger campaign for United Way Oxford ends this weekend.
OXFORD COUNTY - Time is running out if you want to try a delicious one-of-a-kind burger and support United Way Oxford at the same time.
Eleven different restaurants created special burgers for the month of November and $2 from every burger sold is being donated to United Way Oxford. You can find a list of the participating restaurants and their Novemburgers below:
- Boston Pizza (Woodstock) - The Texas Ranger
- Brickhouse Brewpub (Woodstock) - Pimento Smash Burger
- The Mill Eatery (Tillsonburg) - United We Stand Burger
- The Charles Dicken's Pub (Woodstock) - Maple Bacon Burger
- The Joker's Crown (Ingersoll) - Great Canadian Burger
- Chrissy's Catering (Tillsonburg) - Hunter Burger
- Louie's Pizza and Pasta (Ingersoll) - Prime Rib French Onion Burger
- Ironworks Kitchen (Woodstock) - Great Plains Burger
- Tempo Restaurant (Woodstock) - Brie Burger
- Finkle Street Tap and Grill (Woodstock) - Truffle Infused Mushroom Burger
- Angela's Takeaway (Tillsonburg) - United Smash Burger
Resource Development Coordinator Megan Porter tells us about some of the burgers.
"We've got a couple of bison burgers, we've got a beef and pork burger, and we also have a few places that have a veggie option for their burger. At Boston Pizza, I know you can have a veggie option for their Texas Ranger."
Burger enthusiasts can go to the United Way Oxford website to vote for their favourite online here and the top three will receive a People's Choice Award at the end of the month. Special ambassadors will also select the Top Novemburger and the restaurant that sells the most Novemburgers will also be honoured.
