You can add fail to stop for police to the charges against a 35 year old man in Oxford County. OPP tried to pull over the man early Saturday morning on the 401 in South West Oxford.
SOUTH-WEST OXFORD - A 35 year old man is facing additional charges after he tried to run away from police in Oxford County.
OPP first tried to pull over the man around 1:45 am on Saturday morning. They were responding to a complaint about an erratic driver on the 401.
The man didn't stop for police right away, and only did after several officers were called in to help. Officers eventually arrested the 35 year old man from Oneida Nation of the Thames.
He is facing the following charges:
- Operation while Impaired - alcohol and drugs
- Fail to Stop for Police
- Drive motor vehicle - no licence
- Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
