The Liberals selected Mary Holmes to be the candidate for Oxford County for this June's provincial election.
OXFORD COUNTY - Mary Holmes will be the Liberal candidate for Oxford County for the upcoming provincial election.
She used to be a teacher at St. Mary's High School. She was also a Program Coordinator for the London District Catholic School Board for eight years, specializing in Arts and Modern Languages. On top of all of this, Holmes has worked as a professor at Fanshawe College, a college supervisor at D'Youville College and was a faculty advisor at Western University.
Outside of the education system, Holmes has also dedicated her time to the Theatre Woodstock Board, the Children’s Aid Society, Holy Trinity Parish, and the Oxford Community Foundation Board.
Ontario Liberal Leader Steven Del Duca says Holmes is the perfect choice for Oxford.
“Mary’s commitment to bettering Oxford makes her an excellent voice for her community at Queen’s Park.”
Ontarians will head to the polls on Thursday June 2nd.
