Donations are needed at Strachan Equine, the horse barn that went up in flames over the weekend just outside of Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - A fundraiser has been set up to help the people who lost everything in a horse barn fire near Woodstock over the weekend.
The barn is owned by Canada's Outdoor Farm Show and housed several horses, from renters through Strachan Equine.
All of the horses made it out ok, however Jessica Strachan, who rents out the barn says her and her boarders are in desperate need of some supplies.
"The fire it was sudden, it was fast, you don't expect to get that phone call at 3:00 a.m. and rush out and hope everything is ok. When we got there, everything was gone, we lost a brand new quad, a lot of hay, two winters worth of bedding and straw."
Hannah Ross was a boarder at the barn as well and says they lost everything but the horses.
"We lost everything else that we need for them, medical supplies, all of our blankets, all of our halters, brushes, everything you could think of that a farm needs."
Donations can be dropped off at Creekside Riding in Plattsville or Horseshoe Stable in Waterloo. A GoFundMe has been set up to help as well and you can find more information online here.
