"So I'm just asking people to make sure you put your items away. Make sure you take your purse or your wallet, keep it on your person, or take it inside your home, that is the safest place it can be."
Sanchuk also shows how it easy it is to steal items from a locked vehicle if the thief see's something they want.
"So if you see suspicious activity in your area, make sure you contact the OPP or your nearest police authority and more importantly make sure you are locking your doors and keeping those valuables out of plain site."
How #safe are your valuables that YOU work hard for? Please #LockItOrLoseIt and #report suspicious activity by calling the #OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or 9-1-1 for a crime in progress. @NorfolkCountyCA @OxfordCounty #NorfolkOPP #OxfordOPP ^es pic.twitter.com/ijsyRQK2hV
