The London Knights beat the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-1 last night.
QUEBEC - It was a comeback for the history books for the London Knights.
The Knights won the Memorial Cup after celebrating a 4-1 victory over the Medicine Hat Tigers in Rimouski, Quebec last night. Denver Barkey scored twice, Jacob Julien scored and Easton Cowan scored the game winning goal.
Cowan is a prospect for the Toronto Maple Leafs and he was awarded the Stafford Smythe Memorial Trophy as the tournament MVP.
The London Knights lost the Memorial Cup last year, after suffering a 4-3 loss to the host Saginaw Spirit in the final.
