About 130 seniors in Woodstock will receive a Made You Smile package this week.
WOODSTOCK - Local Seniors in Woodstock will be getting special deliveries today from the team at Chartwell Oxford Gardens.
Kathy Deweerd says they just want to brighten people's days with the Made You Smile Campaign.
"I mean all the things we take for granted, being able to have a coffee with someone, going out for dinner and those seniors are sitting in their homes and not having the opportunity, so if we can bring a smile to their face, that would be a wonderful thing."
They will doing 130 deliveries over the next two days to seniors in Woodstock weather depending.
Deweerd says they designed the packages with the wellbeing of a person as a whole in mind.
"Each package will include some nutritional snacks, activities for your mind, crosswords, find a word, information about resources in the community and we will include a few fun game ideas in there too."
This is the second time they have done these deliveries for local seniors. It was a big hit when they did it last year.
