Woodstock Police have been investigating 11 indecent acts in Roth Park over the past year. Last night they arrested a 55 year old man, who is accused of performing an indecent act in front of two women walking the trail.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police have arrested a 55 year old man accused of doing indecent acts in Roth Park.
Police have investigating a spree of indecent acts in the park, a total of 11 incidents from 2019 to 2020. On Monday night around 9, two women were walking the trail when a man exposed himself.
The women called Police immediately. Front line officers and K9 flooded the area. The man was quickly located, arrested and charged.
The forensic identification unit attended the scene and assisted with the investigation. There is no concern for public safety at this time.
The man will appear in court at a later date and this investigation is extensive and ongoing. More information will be available in the near future. At this time, police did not release the man's name.
