One man is facing charges and police are searching for a second suspect in a bizarre case of gas theft in Woodstock.
Police were called to Armtec on Dundas St. Tuesday night.
Witnesses saw a black Dodge pickup leave the parking lot with large barrels filled with stolen gas. The truck, driving on a flat tire allegedly ran a red light and lost one of the barrels onto the roadway.
Police eventually arrested 37-year-old Jeffery Jones. Police say over the last few months, Jones has stolen over $20,000 worth of gas.
He's charged with theft over $5000, possession of stolen property and dangerous driving. He'll be in court November 19th.
Police say they're also searching for a second suspect connected to the case.
