The former Woodstock nurse turned serial killer is being transferred from Kitchener to Montreal.
WOODSTOCK - Elizabeth Wettlaufer is on the move.
According to CTV News, Wettlaufer is being transferred from the Grand Valley Institution for Women in Kitchener to a secured facility in Montreal for medical treatment. There's no word yet as to what she's being treated for or how long she will be in Quebec.
Wettlaufer pled guilty to eight counts of first degree murder, four counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault in June 2017.
Seven of the deaths, two attempted murders, and the aggravated assaults happened while she was working as a nurse at the Woodstock Caressant Care. The eighth incident happened at a London nursing home.
