A facelift is on its way to Hatch Street and King Street.
WOODSTOCK - Road reconstruction is on its way to Hatch Street and King Street. City council has approved an over one million dollar reconstruction of the two roads.
City Engineer Harold De Hann explains the project.
"What we did is take two projects the Hatch street and the King street and combined them into one contract, put it out for tender, it's a complete reconstruction of both streets"
De Hann also explains why this had to be presented to council.
"According to city by-laws anything over three quarters of a million dollars needs to be approved by council."
The total amount of the tender award is $1,069,323.60.
Construction on the two roads is set to begin at the end of the month.
