The Oxford OPP responded to a disturbance in the Township of Norwich and laid numerous charges.
NORWICH TOWNSHIP - A 35-year-old Township of Norwich resident is in hot water.
Oxford OPP responded to an assault in progress on Sunday at 2:15 p.m. at an address in the Township of Norwich. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the disturbance, and the victim was transported to the hospital.
The 35-year-old is facing one count of assault with a weapon, two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, and one count of possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and has been remanded into custody.
