UPDATE: The 401 West bound lanes/ramps are closed at Mill Street in Woodstock. Motorists need to get off the HWY at Norwich Ave or sooner.
INGERSOLL - The poor weather conditions have resulted in a multi-vehicle collision in Southwest Oxford.
Multiple cars are involved in an accident, including numerous tractor trailers, which happened on Highway 401 Westbound at Foldens Line near Ingersoll.
According to police, traffic is backed up and they are asking drivers to avoid the highway at this time. All three lanes of the highway are blocked at this time.
The road will be closed for several hours and police are asking drivers to choose an alternate route.
