It's municipal election day and the polls in Oxford County will close at 8:00 p.m. tonight. Blandford-Blenheim is the only exception, with its polls closing at 9:00 p.m.
OXFORD COUNTY - Voters across the province will be heading to the polls today for the municipal election.
Here in Oxford County, we have 95 candidates in the running to become our future Mayors, Councillors, and School Board Trustees.
The polls in Woodstock will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. today. The City is offering free public transit today to get voters to and from the five polling stations.
The polls in Blandford-Blenheim will also open at 10:00 a.m. but they won't close until 9:00 p.m.
Ingersoll has been using mail-in voting, and those who need assistance can stop by Town Hall anytime between 8:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Norwich has also been conducting mail-in voting and ballots can be dropped off at the Township office before 8:00 p.m.
Tillsonburg, South-West Oxford, East Zorra-Tavistock, and Zorra Township have been conducting internet and telephone voting and 8:00 p.m. is the deadline for everyone to cast their ballots. Those who need assistance can also stop by their municipal offices for help.
