The Van Ave bridge construction should be completed in early April.
WOODSTOCK - There has been a set back regarding the Highway 59/Vansittart Ave bridge construction in Woodstock.
Oxford County officials say unfavourable weather conditions over the last two months made it difficult to complete the work that needs to be done.
At this time the bridge will reopen to traffic in both directions, but is expected to go back to one lane northbound between Devonshire Ave and Tecumseh Street in late spring. The two detours will be put back in place.
Construction is now expected to finish in early April this year.
