Oxford Self Help Network gets new home in the CMHA building

WOODSTOCK - The Oxford Self Help Network showed off their new home to the community Tuesday afternoon at 522 Peel Street in Woodstock.

Executive Director Laura Earle says it was getting a little cramped at their old location.

"Before we didn't have room to have interview space, and actually with our social programs we have things running at the same time because we have different rooms.  Now we have space for two or three different things going on at the same time in the same building."

She's also thankful for the accessibility at the Canadian Mental Health Association space, including wheelchair accessibility and a kitchen to help teach new skills.

Earle says CMHA approached them to share space, and everything was said and done this June.

CMHA's Mike McMahon congratulates Oxford Self Help Network, calling the move courageous.
