New Turbine Order for Tillsonburg Siemens Plant

Tillsonburg's wind turbine blade plant is nearing full production capacity.

The Siemens plant has won another contract to supply blades for 67 wind turbines. They're supplying the Grand Renewable Wind Project in Haldimand County. It's a Renewable Energy Park that will consist of 100 MW of solar power and 150 MW of wind power.

It's added work for the Tillsonburg Plant that is now employing close to 275 workers.

The turbines are set to be delivered starting in January.
