OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health is reporting no new active cases of COVID-19 today and one more recovery today.
The recovery is in Oxford County meaning, we do not have any active cases at the time of this publication. Currently we only have 2 active cases in our region and both are from Elgin County.
To date, the Health Unit has tested 8,715 people for COVID-19. We have 83 cumulative confirmed cases, 77 cases have been resolved, 4 people have died from the virus and we currently have 2 active cases. We have also have had three institutional outbreaks since the pandemic was declared and the are all listed as resolved.
