Southwestern Public Health is reporting no new cases today. Currently there are five cases in Oxford County and two cases in Elgin and St.Thomas.
OXFORD/ELGIN/ST.THOMAS - Southwestern Public Health is reporting no new cases today in the region.
As it it stands, Oxford County has five cases overall. East Zorra-Tavistock has three, Tillsonburg and Woodstock have one case each. Meanwhile, there are a total of two cases in Elgin and St.Thomas.
There are also three institutional outbreaks reported so far. All of them have been resolved and the latest outbreak occurred at the Secord Trails in Ingersoll after there were eight cases involving staff members. The outbreak at Secord Trails was declared on May 18th.
Since the pandemic began, 7,916 cases have been tested to date. SWPH has had 82 cumulative cases with four deaths and 71 resolved cases.
