WDDS is looking for models for the 8th annual Runway of Stars.
WOODSTOCK - The 8th annual Runway of Stars returns to Woodstock next spring.
In May 2026, Woodstock and District Developmental Services (WDDS) will host the event where internal models supported by WDDS get paired with community models. Communication Coordinator and Fund Developer, Krysten McLean on why this event is so important.
"It's our biggest fundraiser of the year. It is so much fun. I always call it not your typical fashion show because if you've been, you know that it's a really, really good time and definitely a lot more hoots and hollers than a typical fashion show."
McLean says there is a nomination process involved.
"We start that process now because it really matters to us that they form a connection, and that's what makes the runway so electric."
McLean mentions once the internal models are picked, they will be outfitted by local retailers fashion lines.
