A 22 year old Norwich Township man has been charged with careless driving after a fatal collision in Norfolk County.
NORFOLK COUNTY - A 22 year old man from Norwich Township has been charged after a fatal collision occurred in Norfolk County on February 2nd.
According to OPP, a grey car was driving east on Queensway West shortly before 5pm. While it was waiting to turn into a business it was rear ended by a black pick up being operated by the Norwich man. The grey car was then pushed into oncoming traffic and was struck by a blue pick up truck.
65 year old Richard Wood of Norfolk County was driving the grey car and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passengers inside the blue pick up were sent to local hospital for precautionary measures.
The Norwich man was not injured, but he has been charged with careless driving.
