NORWICH - Canada Day is still going to be celebrated in Norwich Township but it will look a little different this year.
Usually one of the 4 wards in the township host the event with a parade, barbeque and other activities. Because of the restraints being placed on all of us the Canada Day Committee has decided to take the celebration on the road throughout the township.
Residents are being asked to deck out their homes and yards with their finest Canadiana paraphernalia.
The local fire service will cruise around and judge the best displays. Prizes will be awarded in each of the four areas. The village of Norwich, where this year's celebrations were to be held will host next year. The holiday festivities rotate through the township each year.
