A 13-year-old died and an 8-year-old had to be taken to a trauma centre after a horse and buggy collided with a vehicle in Perth County.
NORTH PERTH - A 13-year-old has died after a horse and buggy crash in North Perth Township.
Police say it collided with a passenger vehicle on Line 71 yesterday afternoon, west of Perth Road 140. The Perth OPP got the call at around 4:00 p.m.
The 13-year-old died at the scene while an 8-year-old was taken to a trauma centre. Both of the kids were in the buggy at the time of the crash. The horse also passed away.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
