What was supposed to be a little added pressure for town councillors turned out to be just little. Only one OPSEU member turned up for a rally infront of Ingersoll's town hall in the last hour. It's in advance of a key decision tonight by council on whether or not to purchase a backhoe produced by Caterpillar Inc. Council is being asked by the union to go against its own puchasing by-law and not buy the CAT backhoe. Heart FM has a reporter at the meeting and we'll have full details on-line later tonight, and full reaction Tuesday on Heart FM.
