Health Minister Christine Elliott states that 2,797 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 and 541 are in the ICU. Of those patients, 56% went to the hospital for reasons other than COVID and tested positive while they were there and 17% went to the ICU for other reasons but do have COVID-19.
Most of the Province is vaccinated with 92% of Ontarians 12+ having one dose and 89.3% have two doses.
