The Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club will be hosting the Ontario Toy Show at the Embro Zorra Community Centre this Saturday. The Rotary Consignment Auction opened last week and will close tomorrow.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club is hosting an event.
It is the 38th Annual Ontario Toy Show and Rotary Consignment Auction, with the toy show happening Sunday, August 27th at the Embro Zorra Community Centre from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Admission will be $6 for adults and $2 for children under 12.
Past President, Doug Vincent says the auction started August 16th and that you can participate online here.
"The auction is online, so there is nothing on Saturday to visit in person. I want to emphasize that due to Covid, the last three years it has been online, it has been very successful."
The auction will close at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24th.
Vincent mentions that this event is a great way for the Rotary Club to raise funds in order to help Oxford communities.
"We also use this as a fundraiser of course. The funds go to helping to feed the hungry and homeless in Woodstock. Many may know we feed them every Saturday at noon and distribute groceries to those in need. So come on down and support us if you want to."
Vincent adds that money raised from the event also goes to help the youth as they give out bursaries and scholarships.
Doug Vincent stopped by the Heart FM studio with Karen Liddle on Tuesday August 22nd to chat with Dan and Marcie. You can listen to the full interview below:
