TILLSONBURG- A St. Thomas resident is in trouble in Tillsonburg.

On Saturday, while on general patrol Oxford OPP officers noticed a vehicle driving erratically at 1:30 a.m. on John Pound Road. As a result, the 36-year-old man was charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, and dangerous operation, driving without proper rear lights, failing to surrender an insurance car, failing to surrender a permit, and driving with an unsealed container of liquor. 

He was released from custody and will appear in a Woodstock Courtroom in August.

BLANDFORD BLENHEIM - The Oxford OPP caught an impaired driver in Blandford-Blenheim Township. 

Officers responded to a single-vehicle collision on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. on Township Road 6. The driver attempted to flee the scene on foot but was later apprehended. A 39-year-old Waterloo resident was arrested and charged with operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, dangerous operation, and failing to stop after an accident.

They will have a date in Woodstock Court in August.
