WATERFORD - It was quite the scare for a Waterford homeowner on Thursday morning when a stranger walked into his house.

Police say the suspect just waltzed into the home around 6:30 this morning. He immediately fled when confronted by the homeowner and took off heading eastbound on Thompson Road East.

Police are reminding all home owners to ensure that all doors and windows are secured in order to prevent anyone from gaining access to their residence.
