The OPP executed search warrants on places of operation for Outlaws Motorcycle Club drug trafficking.
MIDDLESEX - The OPP executed 11 search warrants at eight different locations around Aylmer, St Thomas, and Strathroy.
On June 27, biker enforcement unit partnered with other police services to lay more than 50 charges on 12 members of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club and other clubs.
The police are concerned with the growing motorcycle gang activity in that area and believe that they are migrating from the larger cities to smaller towns.
Deputy Chief Cushman commented on the ongoing investigation.
"We would like for all those involved in organized crime and drug trafficking to know that if you are bringing these commodities to our communities, we will investigate, we will find you, and we will prosecute you."
As a result, police seized an estimated thirty three thousand dollars worth of weapons and drugs such as cocaine and opioids. They also found eleven thousand dollars in cash.
