OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford OPP are are reminding East Zorra-Tavistock Township Residents to be vigilant.
Several complaints have been made involving rural residents and stolen prescription medication. The reports are all similar in nature where a man will enter your home asking to use the phone book, following that he asks to use the washroom then leaves. In every incident prescribed medication was taken with the homeowner only realizing it after the thief has left.
Police are continuing to investigate and are reminding residents to be on the lookout for strange or suspicious behaviour. If approached it is being recommended that you get a description of the vehicle and the man, licence plate number of the vehicle, as well as which way he left, and notify police immediately before the suspect leaves the area.
