Highway 3 is currently closed for investigation. It is expected the road will be reopened later this morning.
UPDATE: Police have identified the deceased as 59 year old James A. Henerson of Norfolk County.
NORFOLK COUNTY - Norfolk County OPP is investigating a fatal crash on Highway 3.
Police, Norfolk County Fire Department and EMS responded to the call earlier today around 5:52am after a propane truck and motor vehicle collided on Highway 3 between Charlotteville Road 10 and Charlotteville East Quarter Line Road.
A grey coloured vehicle was travelling westbound on Highway 3 when the driver crossed over the center line and collided with an eastbound propane truck. Both vehicles then entered the south ditch.
The driver of the car suffered serious life threatening injuries and was pronounced dead on scene. The driver and passenger of the propane truck did not suffer any injuries.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators are on scene assisting with the investigation. The identity of the deceased male is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
