The Oxford OPP asked people to stay away from the area of Robinson Road, Thomas Road, and Wallace Line last night after an attempted break in.
UPDATE: The Oxford OPP is on the lookout for three suspects after an attempted break and enter in Ingersoll.
Police say three people tried to break into a home on Robinson Road at around 8:00 p.m. last night but they took off after they were confronted by the homeowner.
It's believed all three of them are in their 20s. They were also wearing all black at the time and had masks on.
One was a white man with brown eyes, dirty blonde hair, and a flattened nose bridge. He was about 5'8 and it looked like he was carrying a black and brown rifle at the time.
The second suspect was a white woman who stood at about 5'8 with dirty blonde hair that was pulled back in a ponytail. She wore purple glasses and also had a gold tragus piercing in one of her ears.
The third suspect was a heavy-set white woman who stood at about 5'3 with brown eyes, wavy hair, and a ring on her right hand.

INGERSOLL - Police have cleared the area of Robinson Road, Thomas Road, and Wallace Line in Ingersoll.
The Oxford OPP notified the public about an ongoing incident at around 10:00 p.m. last night. There was no threat to public safety, but police advised people to stay away from the area.
It was cleared at around 11:30 p.m. and no further details have been released at this time.
