U.S. President Joe Biden will address Parliament, attend meetings with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and attend a gala dinner during his 24-hour visit.
OTTAWA - U.S. President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden will touch down in Ottawa today.
This will be their first official visit to Canada since President Biden took office two years ago.
Their 24 hours in Canada will begin with an intimate gathering with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau. President Biden will also address Parliament, attend meetings with Prime Minister Trudeau and attend a gala dinner at the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum.
The City of Ottawa says several road closures will be in place during President Biden's visit to Canada, affecting all of the routes his motorcade with travel. This includes areas close to the major downtown streets and the airport.
