The Norfolk OPP stopped a speeder and ended up laying impaired driving charges against a man from Oxford County.
SIMCOE - An Oxford County resident is in trouble with Norfolk OPP.
This past Saturday, just before 7:30 p.m., an officer pulled over a vehicle after observing it going at a high rate of speed. A roadside sobriety test was done, and the driver was taken into custody. The 39-year-old Oxford County man is facing charges of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, and having liquor in an open container in an unauthorized place.
He will appear in a Simcoe Courtroom next month.
