OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Waste Management Facility in Salford will be closed on Saturdays until further notice.
The Waste Management Facility is operating for commercial customers only during the COVID-19 outbreak and is no longer available for residential use. Open hours for commercial customers are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Information on setting up a pre-paid landfill use account for businesses or institutions is at http://www.oxfordcounty.ca/Services-for-You/Waste-management/For-business.
Current commercial services at the landfill site include garbage disposal for landfill, recycling depots, and special waste disposal. Payment by debit or credit is preferred at the site during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Please note that residential curbside garbage and recycling collection are continuing as normal, but residents are asked to stay tuned for information on service changes that will affect some residents after May 4. Check Wasteline at www.wasteline.ca for further updates in the coming weeks.
