Warden Marcus Ryan says the Water and Wastewater Master Plan focuses on overall safety, detailing both current and future projects.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County Council have met to discuss developments for a new transportation plan.
Warden Marcus Ryan says the plan focuses on overall safety, detailing both current and future projects.
"There's a very detailed plan in the report that lists every single road and intersection that's controlled by Oxford and what is potentially online for the next 5 to 10 years in terms of potential improvements."
Ryan adds that the plan focuses on not only the safety of car owners as well, keeping everyone in mind with the new plan.
"Not only driver safety but also pedestrian safety, cyclist safety at some of these intersections. People want to move around and, the intersection wasn't busy, but now with the growth the vehicle traffic at the intersection is significantly busier, and maybe people feel as comfortable being a pedestrian."
Ryan adds that some of the specifics include repavements, road widening, as well as other future steps for managing traffic.
