Following an investigation they determined that two wheels detached from a westbound commercial motor vehicle.
WOODSTOCK - Today at approximately 10:15 a.m., Oxford OPP received a report of a collision in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 near the Woodstock ONroute.
Following an investigation they determined that two wheels detached from a westbound commercial motor vehicle. One of the tires jumped center median, continued into the eastbound lanes of the highway, striking an SUV.
The driver of the SUV was transported to hospital with minor injuries. A 12-year-old passenger was air lifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
