Several pieces of construction equipment along with a trailer were stolen over the weekend in East Zorra-Tavistock Township. Oxford County OPP are investigating, and have said some of the stolen property has been recovered.
EAST ZORRA-TAVISTOCK TOWNSHIP - Oxford OPP are investigating after reports of thefts taking place over the weekend.
It was determined that unknown individuals went to a residential construction site around Wettlaufer Street and William Street in Tavistock and surrounding area between Friday, September 8th and Monday, September 11th.
Police say several pieces of construction equipment and a trailer were taken.
The stolen items include, an excavator from Wettlaufer Street, a Bobcat mini excavator and a Bomag plate tamper from William Street, a diesel plate packer and a skid steer bucket from Diamond Street, a John Deere skid steer 323E from an address on Oxford Road 34 and a 20-foot Triumph galvanized trailer from Woodstock Street.
One of the excavators, the diesel plate packer and the skid steer bucket have since been recovered.
