The Oxford OPP laid a total of 58 charges over the Civic Holiday long weekend.
OXFORD COUNTY - It was a busy Civic Holiday weekend for the Oxford OPP.
Officers laid 58 charges over the August long weekend, including 23 speeding violations. The list also included three distracted driving charges, two seatbelt violations, two impaired driving charges, one fail to move over violation, and 27 other charges.
The OPP say the number of charges could have been higher, but it also could have been lower. It would like to thank all of the drivers out there who obeyed the rules of the road and continue to do so.
