The Social Justice Award has been handed out for 2024.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Social Planning Council Oxford has given out the 2024 Social Justice Award.
It is an annual award given out by the Social Planning Council Oxford to a group or community member that devotes time and energy to the pursuit of social justice. This year Oxford Pride was awarded the prize. The SPCO is honoured to be giving the award to Oxford Pride and support them in any way they can.
Oxford Pride has hit the ground running since becoming a group and has stood up against hate while teaching Oxford County what pride truly means. Oxford Pride hosted their Pride Family Day this past Saturday and will have more events taking place this month.
Pride is not just a month-long, it is a year-round effort to make a diverse and inclusive community.
