OXFORD COUNTY - You could have some of the best snacks in the county delivered right to your doorstep.
Snack the Globe is a new snack subscription company and it just recently launched it's very first product; the Oxford Snack Box.
Co-Founder Garrett Gaudet says it features lots of delicious snacks that were produced right here in Oxford.
"We have snacks from Soul Purpose, Habitual Chocolate, Double Dutch (Shep's Bakeries), Polar Freeze and Jakeman's. So there's a bunch of different snacks there from local favourites and some flavours and textures that will surprise you."
He says they came up with the idea for the Oxford Snack Box during the pandemic as a way to show some love for local businesses.
"It was an idea that was started during lockdown. We had a lot of time and we thought of what better way to create a local initiative for local businesses and for people to conveniently experience Oxford County made products."
The boxes cost $30 each and you can purchase one online here. Those living in Oxford can have it delivered to their doorstep for an extra $5 or you arrange for pickup in downtown Woodstock.
