Oxford County residents will be filling pink, blue and yellow piggy banks for the Canadian Cancer Society of Oxford.
OXFORD COUNTY - Members of the public can still adopt a piggy bank and raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society of Oxford with the 3rd annual Pigs of Hope campaign.
They're encouraging people to adopt a pink, blue or yellow piggy bank and raise money.
Fundraising Specialist Hailey Parliament says all of the money raised will benefit a great cause.
"Pigs of Hope helps to fund our Wheels of Hope program which is volunteer drivers here in our community, in Oxford County and across Ontario who volunteer their time to take cancer patients to and from their treatments safely."
Each participant is asked to raise at least $50.
Parliament says interested volunteers can reach out to them.
"They can call and get any of the information that they want and come to the office to pick it up. We have adoption certificates, how to care for your piggy and our piggy banks are here as well."
You can stop by their office located at 65 Springbank Ave North in Woodstock. You can also give them a call at 519-537-5592.
