Members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community over 16-years-old have until September to fill out the online survey.
OXFORD COUNTY - Southwestern Public Health has released a survey for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
The Oxford-Elgin Rainbow Research Project is in partnership with Laurier University. Public Health Nurse, Gayle Milne explains what the survey is about.
"This is an online survey that is gathering information on health, well-being, access to care, and lived experiences for sexual and gender-diverse individuals."
Milne provides more details regarding the eligibility.
"It's for anyone who is 16 years of age and older who identifies as 2SLGBTQIA+, and they also have to live in either Oxford or Elgin counties."
Parents of 2SLGBTQIA+ children 25-years-old or younger are also allowed to take part in the survey. Information is being collected until September and the research will create a snapshot of people’s experiences in Oxford and Elgin Counties to inform community services.
