If you were thinking of going for a dip at Pittock this weekend, think again. The reservoir at Pittock Conservation Area has been posted as unsafe for swimming. Laboratory tests have revealed bacteria levels slightly above provincial standards. Public health staff have been collecting samples from local recreational waters for testing every week since mid-May. Warning signs to stay out have been posted in the beach area. Beach water quality results are available at www.oxfordcounty.ca/health
